SOS-ZEROPOL2030 is proud to announce the launch of D5.5 – the The SOS-ZEROPOL2030 Roadmap tool, a new online tool designed to connect strategic environmental goals with concrete measures, clearly assigned responsibilities, and time-bound implementation steps.

Designed as an interactive knowledge and planning tool, the roadmap supports decision-making, coordination, and transparency across all governance levels and sectors.

The Roadmap is an operational guide for change.

  • Breaks down high-level environmental objectives into actionable measures
  • Defines who does what, when, and how
  • Identifies barriers, opportunities, and enabling conditions
  • Supports evidence-based sequencing of actions up to 2050
  • Strengthens coordination across EU marine governance systems

The Roadmap is designed around a stakeholder-centred navigation system, allowing different user types (Policymakers and decision-makers, Industry and economic Actors, Researchers and academia, NGOs and Civil Society Organisations, Infrastructure and service providers) to focus on what matters most to them. Actions are tailored to their responsibilities, and they can filter results by specific pollutants that are of interest to them.

The Roadmap tool was developed by the SOS-ZEROPOL2030 consortium and builds on collaborative research activities, policy analysis, and iterative stakeholder engagement conducted throughout the project.
